Frequently asked questions
Is Intuera a VWO alternative?
For Shopify stores (later in other platforms) that want research, a ranked checklist and A/B testing in one place, yes. VWO is a broader experimentation platform that works on any website, with behaviour analytics and personalization. If you need those, or you are not on Shopify, VWO covers more.
Does Intuera offer heatmaps and session recordings?
Yes, through Intuera’s analytics integration, so you can see how visitors behave next to your checklist. The difference is where they live: VWO builds heatmaps and recordings into the same platform as its testing tools, while in Intuera they come from the integration.
Can I run A/B tests with Intuera on a store that isn’t on Shopify?
The Intuera A/B app is Shopify-only for now. Research, checklists and designs work for any store, and code output covers WooCommerce and React.
Can I use both?
Yes. Some teams run their tests with VWO and use Intuera to rank the fixes, design them and keep the checklist and analytics in one place. On a Shopify store you can also run the test in the Intuera A/B app.
Where VWO is strong
VWO covers the whole experimentation workflow on one platform. You can run A/B and other test types with a visual editor, watch how visitors behave with heatmaps and session recordings, personalize content for audiences, and roll out changes, on any website. Its modules and pricing scale with your traffic, which suits teams that run many tests and want one tool for testing and behaviour analytics.
If you are not on Shopify, or you need personalization and server-side testing in the same platform as your heatmaps and recordings, that breadth is the value.
Where Intuera is different
- It ends in a measurement. A guideline tells you what usually works. The Intuera A/B app shows whether a change worked on your traffic. Our first 5 stores raised their conversion rate by 42% on average in 90 days (relative uplift, measured with A/B tests).
- It knows your shop. Intuera reads your brand and your checklist status, then ranks what to fix first for your store and industry.
- It goes all the way to code. Every design comes with citations and with code for your platform.
- It works inside your AI tool. Run audits, designs and tests without switching tools.
- It shows how visitors behave. The analytics integration brings heatmaps and recordings next to your checklist, so you can see where visitors struggle and what to fix first.
